The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join a busy and growing Personal and Business Dispute Resolution team in Boston. This role is ideal for a confident, proactive, and structured individual with experience handling a mixed civil litigation caseload.
You will manage complex matters, generate new work, and maintain high-quality client service while contributing to the development and growth of the department.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a mixed civil litigation caseload efficiently and independently
Provide ongoing service to existing clients and generate new business
Contribute to business development initiatives and cross-referrals across the firm
Produce fee income in line with agreed targets
Maintain accurate records of time, billing, and client work
Keep up-to-date with changes in law and practice in your area
Ensure compliance with quality, risk, and financial control procedures
About You
Essential
Experienced Litigation Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
Proven ability to manage a busy caseload
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Confident, proactive, and structured approach
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Desirable
Experience with SOS Connect or other case management systems
Familiarity with CIPHR or other HR systems
Previous experience generating work and converting quotations
