How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Start Date: ASAP/April 2026
Contract: Temporary until July 2026
Salary: £32,916-£45,351 per annum pro rata (depending on experience and/or qualifications)

About the role
Fractions, fronted adverbials, or fearless creative writing, if you’re a KS2 Teacher who thrives on those lightbulb moments in Key Stage 2, we’d love to hear from you.

At Heart of Supply, we’re working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Sleaford that is looking for a confident, committed KS2 Teacher to make a real impact in the classroom on a temporary basis until July 2026. This opportunity is ideal for a passionate KS2 Teacher who is eager to contribute to a positive and forward-thinking school environment.

This isn’t just about covering lessons, it’s about leading learning. The school is seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher who can stretch high achievers, support those who need a little extra guidance, and create an engaging, purposeful classroom where every child feels valued and supported.

About the school

At Heart of Supply, we’re proud to be working in partnership with a nurturing and ambitious primary school in Seaford. This welcoming and well-resourced school is committed to creating a positive, supportive environment where both pupils and staff can thrive. Whether you’re looking to broaden your experience or find a setting that truly matches your strengths, this opportunity offers the chance to step into a role where your contribution is valued, backed by our support every step of the way.

What you will need:

* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

* Recent experience teaching across KS2 (minimum of 6 weeks in a UK school)

* Confidence delivering engaging lessons that are age-appropriate and accessible

* Strong classroom presence and adaptable behaviour management strategies

* Clear communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships quickly

* A flexible, proactive mindset and a genuine passion for helping children thrive

We’re fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All applicants will undergo thorough vetting, including enhanced DBS (with children’s barred list check and Update Service registration), references, and online checks as part of our compliance process.

What we offer you:

* Competitive weekly PAYE pay

* Roles tailored to your lifestyle - day-to-day or longer term

* Access to exclusive opportunities in great local schools

* A friendly, experienced consultant who listens

* Free CPD and ongoing professional development

* A simple ‘Refer a Friend’ scheme

* A warm, supportive agency that genuinely cares about you and your journey

* A welcome bonus after working for just 1 day!

Heart of Supply is proud to be an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates. We do not discriminate on the grounds of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation. All appointments are made in line with safer recruitment practices.

That’s why we take the time to get to know you, understand your strengths, and place you in roles where you can thrive. Whether you’re just starting out, returning to the classroom, or exploring something new, we’ll be with you every step of the way, offering honest advice, friendly communication, and opportunities that fit around your life.

Benefits:

* Referral programme
