Salary: Circa £65,000 per annum

Hours: Full-time, Salaried – 45 hours per week (Day Shift)
Working Pattern: Flexible start times with core hours based around an 8:00am start. Many employees choose to start earlier.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong CNC Milling background who is looking to take on a leadership-focused engineering role within a medium to high complexity manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in leading continuous improvement initiatives within the CNC Milling section, developing manufacturing solutions for new products, and optimising existing machining processes.
Key Responsibilities

Create and develop CNC machining solutions for new components.

Improve and optimise existing CNC programs and manufacturing processes.
*
Provide technical leadership and support within the CNC Milling section.
*
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
*
Work closely with engineering and production teams to deliver robust manufacturing solutions.
*
Support problem-solving and process development in a medium to high complexity manufacturing environment.
Candidate Requirements
*
Proven experience within CNC Milling manufacturing or production engineering.
*
Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machining processes.
*
Experience improving manufacturing methods and driving process improvements.
*
Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor colleagues where required.
*
Excellent problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
*
Strong communication and organisational abilities.
