For September 2026, TeacherActive is supporting this secondary school to appoint a Biology Teacher on a permanent contract.
The successful Biology Teacher will deliver engaging and well-structured science lessons, with a strong focus on Biology, supporting students to make excellent progress and develop confidence in the subject. This Biology Teacher role would suit an ECT or experienced teacher who can uphold high expectations, contribute positively to the science department and support the wider life of the school.
To be considered for this role, you will:
• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Have a degree in Biology or a closely related subject
• Demonstrate excellent Biology subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
• Be able to deliver engaging lessons across the secondary science curriculum
• Show a commitment to high standards, pastoral care and positive student outcomes
• Hold UK Right to Work
