A leading transport business in the Swindon area is looking for a Transport Planner to support its day-to-day operations.
You’ll be responsible for planning vehicle movements across the UK, coordinating drivers, ensuring customer requirements are met, and maintaining compliance across the fleet.

• £30,000.00 - £33,000.00 per annum

• 8-hour shifts between 7:30am – 7:30pm

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and coordinate daily vehicle movements and driver schedules across the UK
* Ensure fleet utilisation is efficient and cost-effective
* Monitor driver hours, tachograph compliance, and transport KPIs
* Maintain transport records, servicing schedules, and compliance documentation
* Support route optimisation to improve efficiency and service levels
* Assist with fleet maintenance planning, MOTs, and defect reporting
Key Requirements
* Previous experience in a Transport Planner / Transport Coordinator role
* Strong understanding of driver hours, tachograph regulations, and transport compliance
* Experience using Transport Management Systems (TMS)
* Good organisational and communication skills
* Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
Desirable:
* Knowledge of O Licence compliance
* Previous experience within 3PL or multi-customer operations
