The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Preston area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team.

*Please note that drivers may be required to drive Class 2 on occasions*

Shifts: 5 shifts a week (across Monday to Sunday)

Start Times: Start times are between 8am - 10am.

Pay Rate:

* £15.36 per hour PAYE

Location: Preston, PR2

Job Type: Ongoing

The role:

* Bulk Deliveries Collections in a semi / DD or 18 Tonne and deliver and collect loaded pallets of parcels , back and forth from our depot.

Requirements:

* Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).

* Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

* 6 months minimum experience required

* No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

* Full understanding of WTD legislation.

* Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

* Excellent communication skills.

* A safety-first mindset.
