This is an excellent opportunity to work with high-specification components across industries including medical, semiconductor, nuclear, and scientific engineering using state-of-the-art CNC machinery and inspection equipment.
The role involves programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines to produce complex precision components to tight tolerances.
The Role
Programming, setting, and operating 3, 4 & 5 Axis CNC milling machines
Working from detailed engineering drawings
Producing high-precision components to tight tolerances
Creating tooling and setup documentation for repeatable manufacturing processes
Self-inspection using measuring equipment and quality documentation
Supporting continuous improvement and process optimisation
Maintaining a safe, organised, and professional working environment
About You
Strong CNC milling background within precision engineering
Experience programming and operating 3, 4 & 5 Axis machines
Good knowledge of Heidenhain controls
Fanuc experience would be beneficial
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience working to tight tolerances
Positive attitude with strong attention to detail and quality
Desirable Experience
Doosan, Matsuura, or Mazak machinery
Large component machining
CMM or inspection experience
Apprenticeship trained or equivalent engineering experience
