The Role
As a History Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Inspire students to develop a passion for history and critical thinking.
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
Assess, monitor and record student progress.
Prepare students for GCSE examinations.
Create a positive learning environment where all students can succeed.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider Humanities department.
Requirements
To be considered, you will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching History within UK secondary schools.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
