About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 HGV Driver
The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out deliveries and collections safely and efficiently, while providing a high level of customer service. You will be representing the company on the road, so a professional attitude and excellent driving standards are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate a Class 2 HGV in accordance with all legal and company requirements.
* Complete deliveries and collections on time and efficiently.
* Carry out vehicle checks before and after journeys.
* Ensure loads are secure and transported safely.
* Complete delivery paperwork and other required documentation accurately.
* Liaise professionally with customers, site teams and colleagues.
* Report any vehicle defects, incidents or issues promptly.
* Maintain a clean and professional vehicle.
* Follow all relevant driving, health & safety and company procedures.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
* A valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
* A valid Driver CPC qualification.
* A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
* Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience.
* A good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
* A strong commitment to health and safety.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* A reliable, professional and responsible approach to work.
* The ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively
