The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
We have a great opportunity to join a manufacturing team in Royston, as a Production Build Technician. You will produce small, high value bioprocess systems to the highest level of efficiency, quality and cost. As a Production Build Technician, you will be part of the production team responsible for the hands-on assembly, wiring or testing of products. You will also work with other internal functions to continuously identify design, process and efficiency improvements.
Your Responsibilities
* Work hands-on as part of the production team to mechanically assemble products
* Assembly may require some wiring and testing of the product
* Follow a defined process accurately
* Work within the Production Engineering team and other internal functions to continuously identify design, process and efficiency improvements
* Ensure that production documentation is correctly recorded and is kept up to date
* Effective communication with the Cell Leader(s) to maintain maximum efficiency of the Cell(s)
* Work as part of the team to ensure work is completed to required timescales, output and quality targets
* Involved in the implementation and maintenance of lean manufacturing philosophies
* Batch release
What will convince us
* Experience of working in a technical manufacturing, production or assembly environment is essential
* Knowledge in mechanical assembly techniques
* Understanding of mechanical fault finding
* Ability to read and understand basic mechanical drawings
