The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The Role
As a Recruitment Consultant, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle across both permanent and contract vacancies. You will be responsible for developing new business, building long-term client relationships, sourcing exceptional candidates, and delivering an outstanding recruitment service.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and grow your own recruitment desk.
* Generate new business opportunities and build lasting client relationships.
* Source, interview and qualify candidates for permanent and contract positions.
* Manage the full recruitment process from vacancy briefing through to placement.
* Negotiate fees, rates and terms with clients and candidates.
* Build and maintain talent pipelines within your specialist market.
* Manage contractor relationships and client accounts.
* Achieve individual sales and placement targets.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
* Previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant (360 recruitment preferred).
* Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
* A driven, proactive and professional approach.
* The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience within technical, engineering, construction or infrastructure recruitment is advantageous but not essential.
