Transport Sales Executive

£38,000–£40,000 Basic + Bonus | Full-Time | Permanent | Norfolk

At Select Recruitment Specialists, we're delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly respected business within the plant hire and transport sector to recruit an experienced Transport Sales Executive.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and growing company that has built its reputation on exceptional customer service, reliability and long-term client relationships. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll play a key role in driving business growth by winning new customers, developing existing accounts and promoting transport and plant hire solutions across the region.

The Role

As Transport Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for generating new business while managing and developing an existing customer base. You'll take a consultative approach, understanding customers' requirements and providing tailored solutions, ensuring a first-class customer experience from initial enquiry through to completion.

Working closely with the wider team, you'll help deliver an efficient, professional service while contributing to the continued success of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new business opportunities and develop existing customer accounts.

Build strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.

Promote transport and plant hire services across Norfolk and the surrounding areas.

Prepare quotations, negotiate agreements and follow opportunities through to completion.

Deliver outstanding customer service at every stage of the sales process.

Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Maintain accurate sales records and effectively manage your pipeline.

Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.

About You

Proven experience in a sales or business development role.

Knowledge of the plant hire, transport, construction or equipment hire sectors.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

A commercial mindset with strong negotiation abilities.

What's on Offer

£38,000–£40,000 basic salary
