Hales Group are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor on behalf of a well-established and successful manufacturing business based in Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, people-focused organisation where you will play a key role in supporting managers and employees across a broad range of HR activities.
  
About the Role
Working closely with the HR Manager, you will provide a professional and proactive HR advisory service across the business. This is a varied generalist HR position involving employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, HR administration and reporting, whilst ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company procedures.
  
Key Responsibilities

Provide first-line HR advice and support to managers and employees.
Manage a range of employee relations matters including absence management, disciplinaries, grievances, performance management and flexible working requests.
Support managers with occupational health referrals and return-to-work processes.
Prepare employment contracts and HR documentation.
Arrange and attend formal and informal meetings, taking notes and providing guidance where required.
Lead recruitment activities, including offer management and contract preparation.
Coordinate onboarding and induction processes for new starters.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases in line with GDPR requirements.
Produce and analyse HR reports, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage a variety of HR administrative duties across the employee lifecycle.  
What We're Looking For

CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards qualification.
Previous experience in a HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role.
Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
Experience managing a variety of employee relations cases.
Confident building relationships with managers and stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
Able to manage confidential information professionally and discreetly.
A proactive and solutions-focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
