Are you a Higher Level Teaching Assistant who is looking for a role in which you support local schools on daily basis?
We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support a variety of local schools based in Cannock and Rugeley on a temporary basis. You will be working through a highly established agency. You must be confident and experienced in supporting children on both a 1:1 / small group and whole class. You will be confident in covering whole-class teaching, delivering planned lessons, supporting pupils with a range of needs and abilities and working closely alongside teaching staff providing high-quality support that helps to ensure and promote the continuity of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high quality support to all pupils within a school and nursery environment.
Assist in fostering a positive, nurturing learning environment by upkeeping and maintaining behaviour standards and policies in line with school requirements.
Providing relevant support to a range of classes and students within a school environment, your work may be spread across a range of Key stages and classes.
The ability to work using your own initiative, comfortable supporting staff with lesson planning and teaching where required.
Promote and safeguard the welfare of all children at all times.What we're looking for:
Will have quite flexible availability, open minded in supporting a particular school on a longer-term basis.
A qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Level 4).
Has strong and valuable experience working within school environments and pupils on a daily basis.
A kind, caring nature which is rooted by a passion for supporting children in an education setting.
Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to obtain one).
Can provide two recent professional references.
Is able to commute to Cannock and Rugeley.
Is fully registered (or willing to register) with Academics.Pay £93 - £100 per day, depending on experience. Holiday pay is included in the daily rate.
