How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Location: London Bridge | Hybrid
Salary: £35-40K + uncapped commission
Hours: 8:30 AM – 6 PM (Early Friday Finish)

At Potensis, we're looking for an experienced recruitment professional who thrives on winning new business and building lasting client relationships.

This is a client-facing, business development-focused role where you'll be responsible for identifying opportunities, winning new clients, understanding hiring needs, and acting as the strategic partner throughout the recruitment process. Once roles are secured, you'll hand them over to our specialist delivery consultants to source and manage candidates, allowing you to focus on growing your client portfolio. You'll then step back in during the final stages to manage negotiations, offers and secure successful placements.

What You'll Do

* Develop new business opportunities within the UK Property & Construction market.

* Build long-term relationships with hiring managers, directors and key decision-makers.

* Conduct client meetings to understand hiring strategies and recruitment challenges.

* Win and negotiate exclusive and retained recruitment opportunities.

* Partner closely with delivery consultants, providing detailed role briefings and ensuring a seamless recruitment process.

* Remain the primary client contact throughout the recruitment lifecycle, providing updates, managing expectations and maintaining exceptional service levels.

* Re-engage during offer management, negotiations and placement completion to maximise successful outcomes.

* Grow existing accounts through strategic account management, cross-selling and identifying further hiring opportunities.

* Represent Potensis as a trusted recruitment partner and market expert.

* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple client relationships.
