Our client is looking for an experienced Light Vehicle Technician / Commercial Van Technician to join their busy workshop in Glasgow . This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking to develop their career within a professional and supportive workshop environment, with ongoing training and development available.
🚗 The Role As a Light Vehicle / Commercial Van Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across a range of light commercial vehicles, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
📝 Key Responsibilities
Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on light commercial vehicles
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues
Complete all work efficiently and to a high standard
Ensure repairs are carried out in line with manufacturer and safety standards
Identify faults and recommend appropriate repairs
Maintain accurate records of work completed
Work collaboratively with the wider workshop team🧰 What We're Looking For
Previous experience as an LCV, Light Vehicle or Commercial Vehicle Technician
Strong servicing, diagnostic and repair skills
Good mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability
Experience using diagnostic equipment and interpreting fault codes
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A professional and reliable approach
Full UK Driving Licence⭐ Desirable Skills
Experience with manufacturer systems and processes
Knowledge of Hybrid or EV vehicle maintenance
