The role:
• Supporting pupils with SEN including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and behavioural needs
• Working 1:1 and within small group settings
• Helping to create a calm, engaging and inclusive learning environment
• Supporting the class teacher with daily classroom activities
• Building trust and positive routines with pupils
The school is looking for someone who:
• Has experience working with children or young people with SEN
• Is calm, patient and resilient
• Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff
• Has a genuine passion for supporting young people
• Is reliable and adaptable
Ideal backgrounds include:
• SEN Teaching Assistant
• Behaviour Mentor
• Youth Work
• Support Work
• Psychology or Criminology graduates
• Sports coaching or mentoring backgrounds
