Storeman / Materials Controller – Construction Site

Location: Ebbsfleet

Rate: £18

Skilled Careers are currently looking for an experienced Storeman / Materials Controller to join a busy construction site in Ebbsfleet.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, reconciling, organising and loading out materials to ensure the site runs efficiently and the required materials are available when needed.

Duties will include:

1st Fix material review for remaining units, including stud and window boards

Reviewing and loading out front entrance doors

Reviewing and loading out door sets

Reviewing and loading out skirting and architrave

Reviewing and loading out stair parts

Reviewing and loading out MDF for boxings

Ironmongery reconciliation, boxing up materials and leaving them ready for use

Keeping materials organised and ensuring stock levels are accurate

Working closely with the site management team to identify material requirements

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised storage area

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Storeman, Materials Controller or similar role on a construction site

Good knowledge of construction materials

Strong organisational and communication skills

Ability to accurately review and reconcile materials

Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently

CSCS card preferred

Full PPE required
