Leading and working alongside our established maintenance team, you’ll bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the technical expertise to tackle challenges head-on. This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same — ideal for someone who thrives on variety, problem-solving, and keeping complex operations running safely and efficiently.
Duties will include:
* Building an annual plan of planned and preventative maintenance on a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment, on and off the snow slope.
* Performing daily inspections of the facilities and identify areas for improvement, immediately addressing guest facing areas with a 'no lights out' policy.
* Contributing to the management of our preferred supplier list and working effectively with a range of suppliers and contract management partners.
* Ensuring all maintenance issues are dealt with in a corrective and timely manner, considering the best times to conduct guest-facing repairs needed.
* Adhering to the terms and conditions stipulated by our suppliers and delivering constructive feedback to them as and when required.
* Assisting in the management and regulation of utilities regarding water, gas and electricity.
* Developing a PPM strategy to maintain service levels and avoid unexpected expenditure.
* Identifying best practice and implement improvements to ensure continuity
* Ensuring that health & safety maintenance issues are prioritised for the safety of our team and our guests.
* Holding monthly team meetings with direct reports and fully complying with the Snozone People Guide.
Qualifications:
* City & Guilds 2382 17th edition, 2393 Part P, 2365 Electrical installations or equivalent.
* Full driving license
Desirable:
* Experience with refrigeration, air conditioning and heating systems
* Experience of pumps, motors, valves, hydraulics and air handling units essential
* Experience in fault finding and repairing commercial refrigeration equipment
* IPAF category 3B
