The Job:
* Set and Edit programmes using Fanuc controls.
* Experience of programming would be a distinct advantage.
* Knowledge of manual machining would be desirable.
* Must be able to read an interpret engineering drawings.
* Inspection of own work using conventional measurement techniques
* Confident CNC Turner with programming experience would be an advantage
* Training and progression offered
About you:
* Experience of working within a metal cutting environment producing precision parts to tight tolerances
* Experience of operating, setting up and editing of Turning lathes
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
* Confidence and the ability to work in a precision engineering environment and the ability to work on bespoke and one-off items.
* Experience of tooling and set-ups would be a distinct advantage.
* Flexible to work rotating day shifts.
* willing to work overtime as and when required
