We are currently recruiting for a Document & Archive Coordinator to support a well‑established organisation based in Bromley‑by‑Bow. This is an excellent temp‑to‑perm opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of warehouse coordination, client deliveries/collections, and independent working.
The Role
You will ensure the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and delivery of customer assets, maintaining a professional service and high operational standards.
A key part of this role involves regular driving duties, making it perfect for someone who enjoys being out on the road.
Van‑Driving Responsibilities (Enhanced Section)
As part of your day‑to‑day duties, you will be responsible for:
Driving a 3.5‑tonne van to deliver and collect sensitive client materials across London and surrounding areas.
Planning routes effectively to ensure timely, efficient deliveries.
Handling, loading, and unloading items safely to prevent damage.
Carrying out basic vehicle checks before each journey to ensure safety and compliance.
Interacting professionally with clients during deliveries, providing excellent customer service.
Completing delivery/collection tasks using handheld PDT devices to log and track items.
Occasionally supporting multi‑drop routes depending on business needs.This role is well‑suited to someone who enjoys working independently and takes pride in maintaining high driving and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving customer assets into secure storage.
Delivering and collecting items from client sites using handheld PDT devices.
Preparing and retrieving orders accurately and efficiently.
Providing strong customer service throughout all interactions.
Operating a computer‑based logging and tracking system.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy working environment.
Adhering to health, safety, environmental, and security guidelines.
Participating in warehouse duties every 6-8 weeks.Please Note: All offers are subject to medical clearance, references, DBS checks, and full police security vetting.
What We're Looking For
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong IT literacy.
Competent and confident driving 3.5‑tonne vehicles.
Ability to work independently for extended periods.
Flexible and adaptable to varied duties and shifting schedules.
Highly self‑motivated.
