The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
At Saint-Gobain, our Residential Sector team are looking for a driven, technically grounded and collaborative Offsite Solutions Developer to help shape and accelerate our growing presence in the offsite construction market.
This is a cross-sector role at the heart of Saint-Gobain's offsite growth initiative, working alongside our Offsite Development Director, Sector, Portfolio and Technical teams to define, develop and validate solutions for offsite manufacturers.
You'll focus on understanding what makes offsite construction different - particularly around testing, performance and system validation - and use that knowledge to shape competitive solutions, identify development opportunities, and support sales and specification teams across all sectors.
Based within the Residential Sector team but with a broad cross-sector remit, we see this role being based out of our Head Office at East Leake, but national travel will be required.
What we're looking for:
Commercial experience, including pricing and technical sales strategy with a proven track-record in new product or service development
Great communication skills along with influencing across departments and businesses
Tenacity and conviction to drive change in complex environments
Prior experience in working in or with offsite or Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) businesses
What you will be doing:
Developing and maintaining a working understanding of offsite solutions portfolios, including lifecycle, customer perceived use value, pricing and sector assumptions
Working with the Portfolio Development teams to ensure offsite solutions and product portfolios are aligned and well positioned to maximise share, price and profitability
Identifying and championing new offsite solution and product development opportunities, including gaps and adjacencies in current offerings
Assessing how offsite manufacturing changes system performance and determining where adapted testing, evidence or certification is required
