How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

As our new Nursing Lecturer, you will be at the heart of the launch of our Adult Nursing T Level programme, delivering practical and theoretical sessions to 16-18 year old learners in our flagship ward environment within a brand new T Level block at Southgate Campus. You will prepare learners for employment and higher education, supporting them through assessments including exams and the employer set project, and holding course leadership responsibility to ensure the whole team delivers the best possible experience.

You will work closely with our Industry Placement Team and NHS partners, bringing the reality of clinical practice directly into the classroom and ensuring our provision remains authentically connected to the sector. You will be joining a supportive, innovative and growing team that is building this programme with purpose and collaboration from the ground up.

* Learner success: Track and monitor learner progress, maintain accurate records, submit required statistical data promptly and ensure every learner is supported to achieve their potential.

* Pastoral support: Act as personal tutor to a group of students, attending course tutor meetings and keeping parents and guardians informed about learning, behaviour, safeguarding and other key matters.

* Curriculum development: Contribute to the development of curriculum materials, liaise with part-time colleagues and attend team meetings to keep the programme current, innovative and effective.
