Our client is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a business committed to sustainability and recycling, playing an important role in helping to reduce waste and support environmentally responsible practices.
This is a physically demanding role that requires a proactive, hardworking individual who can remain focused and productive throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating recycling and processing machinery safely and efficiently.
* Loading, unloading, and processing mattresses and recyclable materials.
* Carrying out heavy lifting and manual handling duties.
* Monitoring machinery and reporting any faults or maintenance requirements.
* Sorting and separating recyclable components.
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
* Following all health and safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
* A hardworking, active, and switched-on individual.
* Comfortable working in a physically demanding role involving heavy lifting.
* Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
* Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
* Reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
* Previous machine operating, production, or recycling experience is advantageous but not essential.
* Due to the location and timing off shifts, own transport is advantageous
