Are you an organised and customer-focused individual with a professional telephone manner? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and industry-leading business in Aylesbury for a Customer Service Administrator / Telephone Operator to support a busy Service Department
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment, speaking with customers, and providing first-class administrative support.
The Role
As the first point of contact for customers, you will play a key role in ensuring enquiries are handled efficiently and professionally. You will work closely with the Service team, helping to keep operations running smoothly while delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming telephone calls in a friendly and professional manner.
Transfer calls to the appropriate member of the Service Department.
Respond to customer enquiries via telephone and email.
Take accurate messages and ensure they are passed to the correct team member promptly.
Manage and assist with a busy shared inbox.
Provide customers with updates and available information, including engineer arrival times.
Send copies of contracts, certificates and other documentation when required.
Maintain and update customer records on internal systems.
Escalate complaints and complex enquiries to the relevant manager.
Carry out general administration and data entry duties.
Provide additional support to the Service team as required.About You
Previous experience in a customer service, administration, receptionist or call handling role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, professional and customer-focused approach.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Confident using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Able to prioritise workload and work effectively within a busy team environment.
Positive, proactive and willing to learn.What's on Offer?
