The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

What will you be doing?
Manage projects from initial development through to successful completion
Take responsibility for project delivery, costs, profitability and customer satisfaction
Manage engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning activities
Coordinate mechanical, electrical and civil elements of projects
Work closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams
Manage contracts, programmes, budgets and project risks
Ensure projects are delivered in line with CDM and H&S requirements
Travel throughout the UK and occasionally overseas for supplier meetings and witness testing
Where will you be doing it?
You'll be joining an established international power generation business delivering low-carbon energy and battery storage solutions across the UK and overseas. The business specialises in technologies including reciprocating engine-based generation, CHP and renewable gas, with a strong focus on engineering quality, customer service and long-term sustainability.
What will you need?
5+ years' experience managing and developing energy projects
Strong technical knowledge of power generation and reciprocating engines
Experience across mechanical, electrical and civil engineering projects
Understanding of energy production and O&M operations
Good knowledge of CDM and Health & Safety
Experience with contract management and frameworks such as NEC, MF1, IChemE or FIDIC
Competency using Microsoft Project (MPP) and Microsoft Office
HNC/HND or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Full UK driving licence
