School Receptionist - Wakefield
3 Days per Week (Wednesday - Friday) - 8:00am - 4:00pm

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a friendly, organised and professional School Receptionist to join a welcoming school in Wakefield. This is a part-time position working three days per week (Wednesday to Friday), 8:00am - 4:00pm, providing essential front-of-house support to the school.

As the first point of contact for visitors, parents and staff, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.

Key Responsibilities:

Greeting and signing in visitors, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed

Answering and directing incoming telephone calls

Providing general administrative support to the school office

Managing incoming and outgoing mail and emails

Supporting staff, students and parents with day-to-day enquiries

Maintaining a welcoming and professional reception area

Requirements:

Previous school administration experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment

Confidence using IT systems and handling telephone enquiries professionally

A professional and welcoming approach when dealing with visitors, staff and students
