The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The Role:
We are delighted to work with SSE and business growth means that we have vacancies for operatives, to safely undertake civil excavation works, in a way that mitigates health and safety risks, as well as meeting contract targets.
The activities that you get involved with include:
Complying with NRSWA and client specifications.
Ensuring all interactions with colleagues, customers and members of the public are polite and professional, minimising the need to escalate.
Compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures and taking responsibility for the quality of work undertaken.
Accurate and timely completion of all information related to completed and active jobs.
Carrying out activities in accordance with the RAMS and highlighting/escalation deviations.
Cooperating in any incident, accident or damage investigation.
If you have the following experience, we would love to hear from you:
We are keen to receive applications from teams or individuals, with a full and valid driving licence.
CSCS and / or EUSR card needed
Experience working in the utilities industry including safe excavation.
Good appreciation for high standards of work and safe working practices
Any relevant plant tickets such a dumper, telehandler etc
