The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Planning Manager / Head of Planning to join an established private housebuilder with a significant land bank across Hampshire and West Sussex.
This is a senior role responsible for leading planning strategy and delivering residential sites from initial planning through to implementable consent.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the preparation, submission and negotiation of residential planning applications.
* Manage planning strategy across a substantial land portfolio.
* Liaise with Local Planning Authorities, consultants, landowners and other key stakeholders.
* Monitor local planning policy, Local Plan reviews and emerging opportunities.
* Attend Planning Committees, Rights of Way Panels and public consultation meetings.
* Manage planning consultants and external technical professionals.
* Resolve complex planning issues and proactively manage objections.
* Maintain accurate planning records and documentation.
* Report on planning progress, programme, budgets, approvals and risks to the Land & Planning Director.
* Degree in Urban Planning, Geography or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
* Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and residential development.
* Proven experience managing and negotiating planning applications.
* Confident presenting to Planning Committees, Council Officers and members of the public.
* Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
* Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving abilities.
* Commercially aware, self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities.
* Previous team management experience would be advantageous.
