Manufacturing Engineering Technician (Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: Southampton, UK

This role will give you the opportunity to develop your engineering, manufacturing and problem-solving skills within a highly advanced production environment. Working as part of the Operational Excellence team, you will play a key role in supporting production operations, ensuring products are built and tested to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on position focused on troubleshooting manufacturing issues, improving processes, supporting equipment reliability, and helping to introduce new products into production.

You will work closely with Production, Engineering, and R&D teams to identify root causes of manufacturing challenges, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves supporting process validation activities and maintaining clear manufacturing documentation.

Requirements
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering, service, repair, or technical environment.
• Strong practical problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively across multiple priorities.
• Good IT and communication skills; engineering qualifications, Lean Manufacturing experience, or equipment maintenance experience would be advantageous
