The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
Claude Clémaron bespoke luxury furniture is a well-established luxury bespoke furniture manufacturer, established in 1982. We combine modern CNC technology with traditional cabinetmaking skills to create high-quality, made-to-measure furniture for prestigious residential projects.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join our skilled workshop team in Bramley just south of Guildford.
You will be responsible for operating and setting a 3-axis CNC machine –
PEGASUS 1530 - to produce accurate components for bespoke kitchens, bedrooms, home offices, libraries and other high-end furniture. We use the machine only for small batch bespoke components and this is not a mass production position. If you have any cabinet making experience this would be beneficial but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Setting up and operating CNC machinery
* Handson loading and maintenance CNC flat bed router machine.
* Working from technical drawings, cutting lists and CAD/CAM files.
* Producing components accurately to specification.
* Checking dimensions and maintaining high-quality standards.
* Carrying out routine machine checks and basic maintenance.
* Working closely with our cabinetmaking and production teams.
* Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous CNC operating experience, ideally within furniture, cabinetry, joinery or woodworking.
* Good understanding of CNC machining processes.
* Ability to read technical drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* A quality-focused and reliable approach to work.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a skilled team.
Experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming would be advantageous. The program for our CNC is VCARVE- PRO. A user-friendly program.
