What you’ll be doing:
Working as part of a high-performing engineering team, this Maintenance Engineer / Technician role will play a key part in maximising uptime across manufacturing, facilities, and laboratory equipment. This is a varied, hands-on position where no two days are the same, combining reactive maintenance, preventative activities, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
* Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance across manufacturing, facilities and lab equipment
* Supporting instrumentation calibration and maintaining validated specifications
* Diagnosing faults and implementing effective corrective actions
* Working alongside contractors on specialist maintenance activities
* Supporting commissioning of new equipment and processes
* Contributing to continuous improvement and optimisation of maintenance strategies
* Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety, quality and compliance standards
What we’re looking for:
* Apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in an engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation etc.)
* Experience in a maintenance role within a regulated or manufacturing environment
* Understanding of preventative maintenance and calibration activities
* Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
