Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough investigations of serious crimes in line with legislation and policies.
Interview suspects and witnesses with utmost professionalism, ensuring compliance with legal guidelines.
Exercise designated powers of an investigator as authorised, including warrant applications and evidence management.
Prepare detailed case files and documentation to support prosecutions, ensuring legal compliance and accuracy.
Collaborate with various internal departments and external agencies to gather information and provide support.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in investigative practises to enhance community trust and satisfaction.What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in investigative roles with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple investigations simultaneously.
High level of initiative, problem-solving skills, and a flexible approach to work.
Familiarity with legislation related to criminal investigations and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
