The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Qualifications
Essential:
Previous experience in a quality inspection role within manufacturing or sheet metal
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers, callipers, and micrometres
Strong attention to detail
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reliable and organised approach to work
Desirable:
Knowledge of ISO quality standards
Welding inspection experience
Experience completing quality documentation and inspection reports
Forklift licence
Basic computer skills for reporting and record keeping
Roles & Responsibilities
Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections of sheet metal components and assemblies.
Inspect products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and company quality standards.
Use inspection equipment including verniers, callipers, micrometres, height gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
Identify, record, and report defects, non-conformances, or quality issues.
Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality documentation.
Work closely with production, fabrication, and welding teams to resolve quality concerns.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality and manufacturing processes.
Ensure all inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained correctly.
Requirements
As a Quality Inspector, you will also be expected to:
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with health and safety procedures.
Assist with internal audits and quality system compliance where required.
