This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can confidently work from engineering drawings and take projects from raw material through to completed assembly. You'll be fabricating and welding structural steelwork, carbon steel pipework and stainless steel pipework, working on a variety of bespoke engineering and offsite manufacturing projects.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering, fabrication and isometric drawings.
Measure, mark out, cut, prepare and assemble materials.
Fabricate structural steelwork and carbon/stainless steel pipework.
Carry out MIG, TIG and MMA (Arc) welding to a high standard.
Manufacture pipe spools, skid assemblies, support steelwork and modular systems.
Perform quality checks to ensure work meets specifications.
Maintain a safe and organised working environment.
Work independently and as part of a team to meet production targets.
