Working as part of a national estate management team, the Mobile Electrical Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of critical electrical systems across multiple sites.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering planned, preventive, and corrective maintenance across a wide range of electrical plant, equipment, and buildings, while providing expert technical support and maintaining high standards across the estate.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver maintenance across site services, electrical systems, plant, and infrastructure
* Carry out specialist electrical maintenance, including building wiring
* Prioritise and manage workloads across multiple sites
* Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
* Participate in the on-call rota within the maintenance team
* Monitor contractor performance and ensure work meets required standards
About You
* Proven experience maintaining electrical systems or equipment
* Comfortable working across multiple locations and managing varied workloads
* Strong understanding of electrical regulations and technical standards
* Ability to work both independently and within a team
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions
Essential Qualifications
* Electrical Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance
* Good understanding of the latest IEE Wiring Regulations
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* AP/LV (Authorised Person) Desirable (training provided if not held)

This is a mobile role covering sites across Scotland and the North West of England. Flexibility on your home base is available, provided you are happy to travel.
