Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a varied role where you can take ownership of both HR and the day-to-day operations of a business?
Regional Recruitment are working with an established professional services firm in Derbyshire who are looking for an Operations & HR Manager to support their six offices. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, working closely with employees, Partners and the wider management team.
Previous experience within a professional services or legal environment would be beneficial, but isn't essential.

Essential:
Previous experience in an HR and/or operational role
Good generalist HR experience
Experience advising managers on employee-related matters
Good understanding of UK employment legislation
Experience with recruitment and onboarding
Experience managing absence and attendance
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively
Professional, approachable and proactive manner
Strong attention to detail
Desirable:
Experience within the legal or professional services sector
Experience working across multiple offices or sites
Experience managing suppliers, contracts or facilities
Experience supporting audits or accreditations
Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day HR function across six offices.
Advise Partners and managers on employee-related matters.
Manage recruitment, onboarding and induction processes.
Oversee performance reviews and appraisals.
Manage absence and attendance.
Maintain accurate employee records.
Keep HR policies and procedures up to date and in line with employment legislation.
Support audits, accreditations and quality standards where required.
Oversee suppliers, contracts and service agreements.
Support facilities management, office maintenance, health and safety and business continuity.
Develop and improve operational processes and procedures.
Work closely with Partners and the Practice Management team on projects and initiatives.
Help ensure consistency and efficiency across all six offices.
About You:
You'll be someone who enjoys a varied and hands-on role and is confident managing your own workload. You'll be comfortable working with senior stakeholders, advising managers and dealing with a range of HR and operational responsibilities.
