I am currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a well-established business based in the Wolverhampton area.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous engineering inspection experience who is looking to develop their skills within a busy manufacturing environment.
Our client is not necessarily looking for someone who ticks every box. A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn are just as important as technical experience, with further training available for the right person.
Carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspections of components
Performing dimensional inspections using a range of precision measuring equipment
Using measuring equipment to ensure products meet quality standards
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Supporting specialist inspection activities, including hardness testing and material verification where required
Identifying and reporting non-conforming products, working closely with production to resolve quality concerns
Maintaining accurate inspection records and ensuring inspections are completed efficiently to support production requirements
About You
Ideally a minimum of two years' experience within a Quality Inspector, Engineering Inspector or similar role
Previous experience using precision measuring equipment
Able to read and understand engineering drawings
Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
Comfortable working within a busy, fast-paced environment
A proactive attitude, good communication skills and a genuine willingness to learn
