The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
NRL are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager or Site Engineer to oversee the delivery of multiple floors of a large hospital project. This is a non-working role, focused on co-ordination, planning integration, and subcontractor management to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the concurrent delivery of multiple packages across the project. This will include co-ordinating global facilities such as work to the ceilings and walls.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure works are carried out safely, on time, and in accordance with specifications.
Take ownership of organising site activities, ensuring effective sequencing and efficient use of resources.
Work closely with the Project Manager to align site delivery with the overall programme and key milestones.
Provide practical, on-the-ground insight into construction sequencing, buildability, and site constraints.
Act as the link between site execution and project team, ensuring communication is clear and proactive.
Drive a structured and coordinated approach across all trades, ensuring minimal clashes and maximum efficiency.
Key Requirements
Proven experience managing mechanical packages on projects of a similar scale
Strong subcontractor management and coordination skills.
Ability to organise and oversee site works in a structured and efficient manner.
Excellent communication skills, particularly in working alongside the Client.
