I am currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant in Greenwich to join a welcoming primary school and provide dedicated support to pupils with additional needs.

They are looking for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant in Greenwich who can work effectively alongside teachers and the wider SEN team to support pupils both academically and personally.
The Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant in Greenwich, you will provide targeted support to pupils with a range of additional needs.
Responsibilities may include:
Providing 1:1 and small group support
Supporting pupils with SEND
Helping pupils access the curriculum
Providing emotional and behavioural support
Supporting communication and social development
Assisting with classroom activities
Supporting individual learning and development plans
Personal care where required

🕐 Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Ideal Candidate
The successful SEN Teaching Assistant in Greenwich will ideally have:
Previous experience working with children with SEN
Experience within a primary school or educational setting
A calm, patient and nurturing approach
Strong communication skills
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils
A proactive attitude towards supporting learning
A genuine commitment to inclusive educationExperience supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH or complex needs would be highly advantageous.
