A leading facilities management provider is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day engineering operations across a prestigious site in Greater London. The Role As the Engineering Supervisor, you will:
* Supervise and coordinate daily engineering and maintenance activities across the site.
* Lead a team of engineers and apprentices, providing technical guidance, training and performance support.
* Ensure the effective operation of HVAC and other critical building systems.
* Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and emergency repairs.
* Conduct regular inspections to identify defects, improve reliability and minimise downtime.
* Allocate workloads and ensure resources are utilised efficiently.
* Oversee specialist contractors, monitoring performance and ensuring works meet agreed service levels.
* Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, health & safety standards and permit-to-work procedures.
* Maintain maintenance records, certifications and compliance documentation.
* Support asset lifecycle planning, maintenance budgets and cost-saving initiatives.
* Produce maintenance reports and KPIs while working closely with site management to deliver a high standard of service.
About You To be successful in this role, you'll have:
* Previous experience as an Engineering Supervisor or within a technical maintenance leadership role.
* Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical and electrical building services.
* Experience leading engineering teams and managing contractor performance.
* Good understanding of planned and reactive maintenance within a commercial facilities environment.
* Knowledge of health & safety legislation, statutory compliance and permit-to-work systems.
* Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
* A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
