Tradewind Recruitment are actively looking for Teachers of Science to work across a range of secondary schools in the Dover area, from September until the end of the year, with the view of extending beyond.
Salary
MPS1 - UPS3, depending on experience
PAYE
The Role
As a Science Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons across all three Science disciplines - Biology, Chemistry and Physics - to KS3 and KS4 students.
Create learning experiences that cater to the needs and abilities of all students.
Attend departmental meetings and parents' evenings when required.
Monitor and record student progress effectively, providing feedback to support their academic growth and development.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge across Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
Excellent behaviour management skills.
Experience teaching Science to KS3 and/or KS4 students.
An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, or willingness to apply for one, alongside Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible.
The legal right to work in the UK.
