Role Description
This position is Self Employed and requires tutors to work in-person (at the student’s home, family hubs or in-school) delivering curriculum relevant and appropriate material in a positive and engaging way to students of all ages. As a tutor you will be responsible for preparing and delivering each session for your student, and the accurate and timely recording of work carried out or set during a tuition session. You will work with our Schools and Families matching teams with the aim of providing tailored and student focused tutoring to engender confidence and achieve student goals.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering 1:1 tutoring sessions at the student's home (generally during school hours)
- Delivering 1:1 or small group sessions in schools (generally during the school day)
- Clarifying and teaching subject matter
- Assessing student's knowledge on a regular basis
- Presenting a friendly, and professional demeanour
Skills and Qualifications:
- QTS Certificate (Essential)
- Minimum 1 year’s tutoring experience (Essential)
- Knowledge and understanding of UK Curriculum and Examinations process (Essential)
- Passion for your subject/s and the ability to share that passion (Essential)
