EUC Solutions Architect

Fully Onsite | Central London Initial Contract: 6 months Rate: £550 - £575 per day IR35 Status: Outside IR35

We are seeking an experienced, client facing EUC Solutions Architect to lead the technical delivery of a large scale EUC Application Modernisation programme for a major enterprise client based in Central London. This is a fully onsite role (5 days per week), offering end‑to‑end architectural ownership within a long‑term, high‑profile transformation programme.

You will act as the senior technical authority, architecting and governing the migration of 1,500+ enterprise applications to a modern, evergreen model aligned with Microsoft's Modern Application Reference Architecture. The role sits at the centre of client engagement, working closely with UK‑based stakeholders and coordinating delivery with an offshore team in India.

Responsibilities

Own the end‑to‑end EUC solution architecture, from discovery and assessment through to evergreen steady state
Lead a three‑month Discovery & Assessment phase, leveraging AI‑based dependency mapping and application assessment tooling
Define and govern a risk‑based testing strategy across the entire application estate
Oversee sprint‑based Migration Pods (Assessment, Migration, App Lifecycle), ensuring architectural consistency across all workstreams
Drive packaging automation, CI/CD pipelines, and remediation workflows, minimising manual intervention
Act as the primary technical point of contact for IT Application Owners and senior client stakeholders
Present and govern architectural decisions at operational and steering committee forums
Work closely with the onsite Project Manager and offshore India delivery teams to ensure delivery aligns with architectural intentRequired Skills & Experience

Deep, hands‑on expertise with Microsoft SCCM and Intune, including Autopilot, hybrid device management, and enterprise‑scale application and image deployment
Strong application packaging experience across MSIX, MSI, App‑V, and PowerShell AppDeployment Toolkit
Experience designing CI/CD pipelines for automated application packaging and deployment
Strong grounding in Microsoft's Modern Application Reference Architecture, including Modern Access, Servicing, Authentication (Entra ID / Azure AD), and Packaging
Knowledge of Juriba App‑R (advantageous)
Prior banking delivery experience strongly preferred
Experience with Power Apps workflow design
