Freelance Senior Recruiter / Talent Acquisition – Major Infrastructure Project
Day Rate | Full‑Time Hours | Weekly Pay via Umbrella

We are recruting for a Senior Recruiter to support a major infrastructure client based in Bridgwater, closely aligned to work on the Hinkley Point C (HPC) project.

This is a freelance, on‑site recruitment role, supporting high‑volume and specialist hiring across operational, security, logistics, facilities and support services functions. The role suits a hands‑on recruiter who is comfortable working in a fast‑paced, compliance‑heavy environment.

The Role:

* End‑to‑end recruitment delivery across multiple job families

* Managing live vacancies supporting a large infrastructure project

* Liaising closely with hiring managers and operational teams

* Screening, interviewing and coordinating candidates through to offer

* Supporting onboarding processes aligned to site and security requirements

* Working within robust compliance, vetting and audit frameworks

* Maintaining accurate recruitment records and reporting

Likely Recruitment Areas Include:

-Security, site access and guarding roles
-Facilities management and estates support
-Logistics, transport and operational support roles
-Administration, HR and project support functions
-Other site‑based and project‑critical positions

What We’re Looking For:

* Proven experience as a Senior Recruiter, Delivery Recruiter or Talent Acquisition.

* Background in infrastructure, construction, engineering, aviation, defence or similar regulated environments

* Comfortable managing high‑volume and fast‑moving recruitment campaigns

* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

* Able to work on‑site in Bridgwater on a full‑time basis

Contract Details:

* Competetive Freelance contract (day rate)

* Paid weekly via umbrella company, based on days worked

* Full‑time hours, Monday to Friday (hybrid after probation)

* 3 months initially, then reviewed month-to-month in an ongoing basis.
