Overview
Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join their growing sales team.
This is a high-energy, target-driven role focused on generating new business through proactive cold calling, lead generation, and relationship building. The ideal candidate will have strong telesales experience and a proven ability to win new customers.
Cold calling is a key part of the role, with a minimum KPI of 80 outbound calls per day.
Key Responsibilities
* Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
* Generate and develop new business opportunities
* Carry out high-volume outbound cold calling (80+ calls per day KPI)
* Identify and qualify new sales leads
* Research new markets, trends, and potential customers
* Prepare and follow up on sales proposals and quotations
* Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products/services
* Negotiate with new and existing customers via phone and email
* Maximise opportunities from inbound and outbound enquiries
* Maintain accurate CRM records and update activity daily
* Produce reports on activity, pipeline, and performance
* Attend networking events and support business development activity
* Work collaboratively with internal teams
Requirements
* Previous experience in telesales or business development
* Strong cold calling and lead generation skills
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets
* Confident communicator with excellent telephone manner
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email)
* Self-motivated with a strong “hunter” mentality
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
