The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

A leading Tier 1 main contractor is delivering a landmark UK gigafactory project in Somerset and is now looking to appoint an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on this long-term, high-profile scheme.
This is a rare opportunity to be involved from an early phase on a nationally significant project within the green and energy transition sector.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in the commercial management of MEP packages, supporting delivery across a large, complex construction environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing commercial aspects of MEP subcontract packages from procurement through to final account
* Tendering, subcontract administration, valuations, variations and cost reporting
* Supporting profit, cashflow and risk management objectives
* Cost checking and analysis of labour, plant and materials
* Working closely with project delivery teams in a construction management environment
About You
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with strong commercial awareness
* Solid background managing MEP packages on major projects
* Experience across pre- and post-contract stages
* Exposure to large-scale or complex construction projects
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline
* Confident communicator with a proactive, detail-focused approach
