The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
TLG Infrastructure are currently recruiting Senor Engineer's to work for a leading Main Contractor operating multiple projects in London.
They will deliver complex projects including RC, new structures/ alterations, basement construction, groundworks and temporary works.
Our client have secured a number of projects starting in 2026 which is why they are increasing their engineering team and able to offer 12 to 24 months on their projects.
Key responsibilities as Senior Engineer:
Lead engineering delivery for cut and carve demolition, structural alterations, basement construction and temporary works.
Develop practical engineering solutions for complex construction and demolition sequences.
Design, review and manage temporary works, including propping, shoring, needling and temporary stability systems (bonus having TWC or TWS however not essential)
Plan and oversee construction sequences, ensuring structural stability is maintained throughout the works.
Provide technical support on site, resolving engineering issues and responding quickly to construction challenges.
Review structural drawings, calculations and specifications, identifying design conflicts and constructability issues.
Manage engineering interfaces between permanent works, temporary works, demolition and new construction.
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and site teams to coordinate engineering requirements and agree technical solutions.
Identify and manage engineering risks, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with relevant standards and procedures.
