The type of teacher we're looking for
We're keen to hear from teachers who:
Are completing their Primary teacher training in Summer 2026 or already hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have a genuine passion for helping children learn and succeed.
Create engaging and inclusive classroom experiences.
Are adaptable and confident working in different school environments.
Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and wider school communities.
Are available to work across primary schools throughout Torfaen.
Have an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one.
Are registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
