How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * Plan and coordinate daily production schedules to meet customer delivery deadlines.

    * Drive productivity, efficiency and continuous improvement across the fabrication department.

    * Ensure all products meet the exacting quality standards required.

    * Review technical drawings, templates and production information to ensure accurate manufacture.

    * Support sales and customer service teams with technical advice and fabrication solutions.

    * Manage workflow, labour allocation and production priorities.

    * Train, mentor and develop team members, encouraging continuous learning and high performance.

    * Conduct staff reviews and support individual development plans.

    * Maintain exceptional housekeeping and organisation throughout the production facility.

    * Ensure machinery and equipment are maintained, inspected and operating safely.

    * Champion Health & Safety, ensuring compliance with company procedures and industry legislation.

    * Monitor stock levels, materials and consumables to support uninterrupted production.

    * Work collaboratively with senior management to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.

    About You

You'll be an experienced production leader with a passion for quality manufacturing and developing people.

    You'll ideally have:

    * Previous experience managing production within a manufacturing, engineering or fabrication environment.

    * Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.

    * Excellent planning and organisational abilities.

    * A practical, hands-on approach to solving production challenges.

    * A commitment to delivering exceptional quality and customer service.

    * Good understanding of Health & Safety and continuous improvement principles.

    * Experience interpreting technical drawings and manufacturing specifications.

    * Engineering, manufacturing or fabrication qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential
